A Colorful Fall

The gods always seem to smile on our September and October couples with beautiful weather and stunning colors. This year was no different. We felt especially grateful because Flourtown Country Club has several options for both indoor and outdoor space.

As the exclusive caterer, Seedling and Sage Catering worked with all of the 2020 FCC clients to assure their events could work either right here at FCC, at their private homes, or at another space (while also strictly adhering to all pandemic capacity and space requirements). So, despite the event and capacity restrictions in PA and NJ due to COVID, we were able to operate most of our Fall events, simply with less guests (and masks, tents, sanitizer stations, and a many other safety precautions… that’s another blog….)

After operating several events per weekend, we get a great feel for what’s on trend. A few things really stand out: outdoor events are here to stay, mixed material combos (woods, metals, marbles), gold is still shiny and happy, suspended florals especially decorating tents, and ceremony arches that really are not arches at all!

Throughout these past few months, we have been able to host events at Flourtown Country Club, MOYO, The Farm Bakery and Events, Durham Hill Farm, Morris Arboretum, Abington Art Center and more… Also, private estates in Montgomery, Bucks and Chester Counties!
