June 26 was a beautiful day for Allison and Jake to begin their next chapter together at Flourtown Country Club. With the golf course as their backdrop, the couple exchanged vows at our Twin Oaks ceremony location, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
After the “I do’s,” guests headed inside to continue the celebration with food and drinks from our exclusive caterer, Seedling & Sage. The newlyweds had their own signature cocktail, the Strawberry Jalapeno Margarita, featuring strawberry, jalapeno, haitian orange, fresh lime, tequila blanco, and completed with a salt rim.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour throughout the Main Foyer and outside on the Veranda, sampling the Signature Mediterranean Station, Artisan Cheese Board, “Veggie Couture” Board, and a selection of passed hors d’oeuvres. From there, everyone gathered for a seated dinner before making their way to the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds well into the evening.
But beyond the beautiful details, delicious food, and dancing, Allison and Jake’s wedding was a celebration of a love story that began long before their wedding day. From passing notes in high school to passing the cake at their wedding, these two have spent the last decade growing up, growing together, and proving that sometimes your first love really can be your forever.
Cheers to ten years of love, a lifetime still to come, and finally getting to call each other husband and wife!
